Introduction#

You type “translate lorem ipsum” into Google’s search bar and press Enter. Roughly 200 milliseconds later, ten blue links and a translation widget appear on your screen. In that fifth of a second, your keystrokes triggered a cascade of protocols, each handing off to the next like relay runners passing a baton across the planet. A name was resolved, a connection negotiated, encryption established, a request dispatched, routed through a dozen machines, answered, and rendered — all before you could blink twice.

I’d just like to scribble out my outrage on this topic.

In Australia, there is a new(ish) Open Banking Project which via the CDR (Consumer Data Right), is intended to empower customers.

Instead, what has happened is that the little guy is once again being fucked.

The approved Third Party Vendors must be ACCC compliant which costs lots of money. This cost is then paid by giants such as Basiq, Adatree, Skript.

• make (fake) hard clearing cut for the disc back onto the open side
• when throwing lane is optimal, run around defender, and run the length of the 7 shape to be thrown an inside flick break.
